ACTO Responds to “Hostile Governance Actions” with Region-Wide Safeguard

The Antares Council for Territorial Oversight (ACTO) has announced a series of preventative measures in response to recent governance disruptions observed in neighboring regions, likely referring to Promitor and the tactics used to seize control of its government.

While no such incidents have occurred within ACTO-controlled systems, the Council described the threat as both credible and immediate. New policies require member planets to maintain low treasury balances to reduce exposure to opportunistic seizure, alongside enhanced financial transparency measures.

ACTO has also introduced a temporary “ACTO Savings” mechanism, allowing governors to transfer funds into a protected regional holding structure during vulnerable election periods.
